It’s a real jungle out there ladies. I know all about it. It’s hard as it is to be wasting a couple months of your life dating a guy who turns out to be a complete loser, let alone to identify the best places you can go to find successful black men who aren’t.
If only there were some magical maps filled with shiny stars that would indicate the exact locations of those fine brothers you’re looking for…
Well, guess what?
Since you’re probably here to learn a thing or two about relationships and the methods you need to use to make them work, why not tell you about some pretty great spots/cities where you can actually put everything you learn here into practice? Sounds only fair, so here we go.
City 1: San Diego.
This is the eighth-largest city in the United States and the second-largest city in California. But San Diego is so much more than statistics. It’s the city where you can find 100 single black men (18 to 34) for every… 57 single black women! So how about that? I guess I know why you started packing! Statistics and Censuses don’t lie, so you might be in for a real treat once you get there and check out the surroundings.
City 2: “…Dancing in the streets of New Orleans…”.
There are tons of sights to visit here, and the fact that the city is being considered one of the most visited cities in the United States, with 10.1 million visitors in 2004 should really get you thinking of the enormity of men who are living there, commuting, or coming to have a good time. Plus, according to further censuses, successful black men are prone to be found here, and the Black men-women ratio here is really close.
City 3: Baltimore.
Known as the largest independent city in the U.S. and the largest city and cultural center of Maryland, Baltimore also makes for an exquisite place to meet single black men. Go to the Inner Harbor and check out the breathtaking night time panorama, wear a cute dress, put on your high heels and work your magic. You’re prone to meet a new guy in no time – think about going on vacation there. There are plenty of places to visit and a lot of ways to entertain yourself.
City 4: Washington, D. C.
This is a great place to go on a hunt for single black men, given the fact that over 70 percent of the city’s population is Black (more than 400,000 African Americans call D.C. home). You can find a lot of clever high-achieving black men there. In D.C, you will find the largest number of college graduates in the U.S. All of these men come here to continue their studies and build their careers, so you can find them literally everywhere.
City 5: “These streets will make you feel brand new/ Big lights will inspire you…”
Let’s hear it for New York, ladies! That’s right, I’m talking about NY and its 8 million inhabitants. That’s pretty impressive, don’t ya think? I’m guessing you’re probably guessing something like “the bigger the city, the bigger my shot,” right? You’re not that far away from the truth. However, you need not fully rely on the size factor either. Just think about the times you went to a bar packed with single guys, and you went home with… None. Yeah. You get the picture. So what I’m trying to say is that NY is not one of the best places where you can hook up just because of its impressive size. It’s actually the little things or even its drawbacks that make it so appealing for ladies. Here, you either have to walk to work or take the subway; of course, you’ll be forced to talk to people, meet new men all the time and boost your shots of getting in touch with a guy that can turn out to be the love of your life.
Tons of bookstores, coffee shops, restaurants and cool pubs are just waiting for you.
From Manhattan to the Bronx, from the Upper East Side to the Upper West Side, Times Square or the Statue of Liberty, the crowd is always going to display a wide array of fine single black men just waiting for your outgoing personality to brighten their day.
City 6: “Hog butcher for the world/ Tool maker, stacker of wheat/ Player with railroads and the nation’s freight handler/ Stormy, husky, brawling/ City of the big shoulders.”
In other words, Chicago, ladies, and gentlemen! This city has its own inner beauty, thousands of conventions that bring together hundreds of people on a daily basis, huge health clubs where successful black men like to workout, blues, jazz, R&B or classical concerts. Literally, anything you can think of can be easily found in Chicago.
City 7: Los Angeles.
L.A. is the place to be if you plan on building your future career here, especially if you’re thinking of becoming involved in the entertainment business. You can find tons of actors, musicians, writers, publicist or agents striving to get their shots at the big time. So, most times, at least at the beginning of their careers, being involved in a relationship or being married is not something they can afford. This is where you can come into the picture and show them your complete understanding for the things they are doing, cheers to the city of angels.
Finally, there are plenty of cities where you can meet the man of your dreams. You just need to bear in mind that, no matter where you meet him, you need to be yourself, believe in your own strengths and never let go of your dreams.
Love may wear a different accent than you might have imagined it, and it might have some peculiar hobbies you never heard of, but when it strikes you, you’ll know. You just need to look around with your eyes wide open and see if the thing you’ve been missing hasn’t been right under your nose all along.
It’s not always like in the movies, but that doesn’t matter.
